Keeping Notes

What about notes? Are you lost without notes?

I am. I write notes all over the place and lose them half the time. I lose a lot of time too, when I can't find them, which used to be the case all too frequently. I was good at note writing, but not at note keeping. I like to keep notes. I write a lot of notes about people. Birthdays, addresses, directions, kids names, reminders of one kind or another, but instead of jotting this stuff down on envelopes and menus and scraps of paper, I type it into my computer.

But, not just anywhere in the computer, not in Word or WordPad or NotePad. Oh, sometimes when I'm in a hurry or right in the middle of a download I might write a note or two in those applications, but as soon as I get the chance I copy it into Names 'n' Stuff, to get it organized.

Names 'n' Stuff is good at keeping notes and keeping them straight. I mean, even a simple thing like getting the right kids names associated with the right friend is important. So is remembering what to get my wife for her birthday. It's so easy to forget and so pleasant when I don't.

In Names 'n' Stuff, I can write an unlimited number of notes associated with any name, any company, any phone call, or any special event in my appointment reminders list. That's a lot of notes and all those notes are associated with the event or the person that they should be associated with. The database keeps track of everything.
