Pending Events List

It's good to know about a coming event before it sneaks up on you. So don't let that happen. Enter all your pending appointments, things that need doing, birthdays to remember, people to call and anniversaries to celebrate, in your Important Dates List.

Every listing lets you specify the number of days before the event, that you want to be reminded of it. If the President's birthday is coming up on the 20th of March, you can be reminded from the 10th right through the 20th, so that you have plenty of time to mail a card. In fact you can be reminded so often, many times a day for many days, that you might even want to turn the reminder function off.

But, a lot of us need to be reminded more than once before we take action, so it's convenient to set the pre-event notification to several days and the pop-up reminder interval to every 60 minutes to be sure we don't forget. That's why the function is called Important Dates. :) But, don't be satisfied with just the Date, Time and Event, add a note to remind yourself of the Governor's shirt size and favorite author. Include driving directions to the Governor's mansion in case you decide to drive yourself instead of taking the limousine always provided for important guests.

Or you might want to skip the affair altogether and take the kids to the beach. But still, include directions and a good place to park.
